I was invited to the horse races, but I didn’t know how to bet. So I went online to find horse racing software because I didn’t want to make a fool of myself at the track in front of the people I worked with. I knew nothing about horse racing, so I had to find something simple and fast.
First, I had to find out what horse racing software does. I was hoping I could just put in the track and race number and it would tell me who to bet on. Well, I quickly found out it didn’t work that way. Not exactly that way, but it did provide predictions on the outcome of the race. The software does give you probabilities and percentages based on a whole lot of statistics.
The software I found seemed to range from very complex to extremely simple. Not being a punter, I went for a moderately simple version where I didn’t need to do much. The software worked, and I made some decent wagers and didn’t make a fool out of myself.
Now that I was hooked on horse racing, I had to dig a little deeper. I discovered there were things the software didn’t take into account. Things like jockey changes, which turns out to make a big difference. The software doesn’t take into account the direction of the course. At first, I didn’t even know there were horses which ran left and horses which ran right. Again, this makes a big difference.
Basically, I like horse racing software. It makes learning the system easier and can get you betting faster. After you learn more, you can tweak your decisions based on things you know that it doesn’t. After all, on a rainy day you will want to consider the mudder.
